Class Action Lawsuits

Class Action

When veterans and their families need representation on a large scale, the Vets National Advocates Network is available to those veterans who wish to pursue a class action claim.

Veterans with similar claims can file by working with class action representation through the Vets National Advocates Network. If you have been injured by a defective medical device or a dangerous prescription drug, you could be entitled to damages.

Recent Top Class Action Lawsuits

In 2008, two advocacy groups filed a class action suit against the VA on behalf of nearly 60,000 veterans alleging that the VA takes far too long to process claims.

The suit, filed by the Vietnam Veterans of America and Veterans of Modern Warfare, further alleges that the two to four years the agency takes to process disability claims resulted in economic devastation and hardship for plaintiffs.

Also in 2008, the class action Sabo v. United States alleged that from 2002 to 2008 the military illegally denied Iraq and Afghanistan war servicemembers benefits when they returned home from combat. In 2011 a settlement was organized.

These cases are just a few examples of ways in which forming a class action lawsuit can help numerous veterans recover the benefits they deserve.
